Youth Accounts

ECU offers two types of accounts for members under age 17. Both of these accounts help teach our young members the importance of saving and managing their money.

C.U.B. CLUB (Credit Union Buddies) ACCOUNT

This savings account is targeted towards children, ages 0-12, and is designed to make saving easy, rewarding and fun! Open this account for your child today with a $5 deposit. It is never too early to learn the importance of saving!

C.U.B. Club membership includes:

• Special membership card
• “Bear Tracks” card to keep track of deposits
• C.U.B. Club bank bag
• C.U.B. Club bear bank
• Quarterly newsletter
• Rewards for saving – for every $5 deposit, C.U.B. Club members receive 1 bear cent which can be redeemed for fun prizes! (Limit of 25 bear cents for each deposit)
• Invitations to special events for C.U.B Club members
• Interest paid quarterly

Team Accounts

These accounts are targeted towards teens, ages 13-17, and are designed to help them become responsible savers.

TEAM SAVINGS

Open this account with a $5 deposit.

TEAM membership includes:

• Special membership card
• Deposit register to keep track of deposits
• Interest paid quarterly
• View your account online with Online Banking

TEAM CHECKING

Open this account with a $50 deposit. Member must be 16 and have an adult co-sign on account.

Membership includes:

• First 40 checks free
• Interest paid on balances of $500 or more
• ATM card available with co-signer approval
• View your account online with Online Banking
